Uni Baby and Migros Join Forces to Reduce Plastic Use

Uni Baby and Migros have launched a collaborative initiative aimed at reducing plastic consumption and raising awareness among consumers with the Refill Station Project.

Designed to minimize single-use plastics, the pilot project allows customers to refill specially designed bottles with Uni Baby Baby Detergent and Fabric Softener. The pilot refill station will operate at the Caddebostan MMM Migros store.

Customers who wish to use the refill station can bring their empty Uni Baby detergent or fabric softener bottles, designed for babies and individuals with sensitive skin, to the Caddebostan MMM Migros store. By scanning the barcode on their bottle, placing it in the refill compartment, and pressing the refill button, the process begins. Once refilled, the system provides a new barcode for payment at the checkout. Customers can follow these steps on the station’s interactive screen for a seamless experience.

Uni Baby and Migros aim to expand this initiative to other Migros locations in the future, with the ultimate goal of significantly reducing the annual plastic waste generated by detergent sales.
